Congaree National Park

While at Weston Lake Campground we traveled about 30 minutes south to visit the Congaree National Park. We walked only part of the elevated boardwalk, as part of it was damaged during hurricane Matthew. The most interesting thing was the tremendous loblolly pine trees. They claim there some loblolly trees within the park that are 12-15 stories tall. We didn’t see any that tall but we did see some very tall ones.
